Happy and caffeinated

Tried stand-up again last night, and I had a really good set. What a rush!

They put me up first again, and I wasn't sure how to take that. So I took it at face value and just got up there. And for whatever reason I just rocked it. The crowd stayed with me almost the whole time, and I got laughs where I expected them, plus a few bonus ones I didn't count on. I think I got lucky that we had a small, mellow crowd last night, because I noticed some of the higher energy sets suffered. But hey - it worked for me, and that made me super happy.

Really, when you can make a whole room laugh, you feel like God. It's incredible. I encourage you to try it.

I'm hopelessly optimistic today. Excited about new possibilities. Life is good.
